Who We Are (Operator & Data Controller)
FreeToolset (www.freetoolset.app) is independently developed and maintained by TMFS, who is the data controller for this site. It is not affiliated with any company or organization.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your data rights (access, correction, deletion), feel free to contact us at freetoolset.app@gmail.com or through our contact page. To learn more about who we are and why we built this site, see About Us.
Our Commitment to Privacy
At FreeToolset, your privacy is our top priority. We are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how our tools work. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost nothing) and how we handle it.
All Processing Is Local
All tools on FreeToolset run entirely in your browser. This means:
- Your text, images, files, and other inputs are processed locally on your device using JavaScript.
- Except for the contact form (see below), your data is never uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted through any server.
- When you close the page, all data is gone — we don't retain anything.
- Even if you're offline (after the page loads), the tools continue to work.
No Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or process any personal data from our users. Specifically:
- No account required — You don't need to sign up or log in to use any tool.
- No user input storage — Except for the contact form, text you type, images you upload, and passwords you generate are never saved or sent anywhere.
- No analytics on your content — We don't analyze, mine, or sell any data you input into our tools.
Cookies
FreeToolset does not use cookies. We do not set any tracking cookies, session cookies, or any other type of cookie on your device. Your browsing activity on our site is not tracked.
Third-Party Resources
The only external resource loaded by our site is the QR Code generation library (qrcodejs), which is loaded from the jsDelivr CDN. This CDN may log standard request information (IP address, user agent) as part of their normal infrastructure. No personal data is sent to this CDN — it only delivers the JavaScript library file.
If you have concerns about this, you can use a browser extension that blocks third-party scripts, though this will disable the QR Code Generator tool.
Advertising
If we add advertising in the future (such as Google AdSense), we will update this policy with clear information about what data advertising partners may collect. Any advertising will be clearly distinguishable from tool content, and we will never share your tool inputs with advertising partners.
Contact Form Submissions
The one exception to the local-only rule above is our contact form. When you submit it, the name, email address, subject, and message you provide are sent to our server and stored so we can read and respond to your inquiry. This is the only feature on the site that transmits your input off your device.
- What we store: your name, email, subject, message, and the time of submission.
- Why: so we can reply to your feedback, suggestions, or bug reports.
- Where: in a managed key-value store (Upstash Redis) that only our backend can access.
- Retention: messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request, then removed.
- If submission fails: the form falls back to opening your email client so you can reach us directly.
We never sell or share contact submissions with advertisers. If you would rather not provide your details through the form, you can email us directly at billyjaydenbilly@gmail.com.
Browser Storage
Some tools may use your browser's local storage or session storage to remember your preferences (such as selected options). This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings.
Children's Privacy
FreeToolset is suitable for users of all ages. Since we don't collect any personal data, our services are safe for children to use. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
